Eco-constuction is becoming increasingly prominent in the discussionr about the future of housing and sustainability. The recent 3Cat feature highlights how we can build more homes while reducing the environmental impact of the construction sector.
In this context, the ECO-ReDi (Eco-construction in the Digital Era) consortium is helping drive this transition. Coordinated by AIDand co-funded by Erasmus+, the project brings together Fundació Trinijove, APLOMB, PETRA Patrimonia Corsica, and ANABto promote innovation in vocational education and training for sustainable construction.
ECO-ReDi fosters the development of new professional skills in eco-construction through innovative methodologies, digital tools, and specialised training in bio-based materials and sustainable building techniques. Its objective is to equip today’s professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to address the environmental and social challenges facing the construction sector.
The transition towards a more sustainable construction model requires collaboration, innovation, and education. Through this partnership, ECO-ReDi is helping prepare construction professionals for a greener and more resilient future.
